In a bid to curb smuggling, owners of vehicles not registered here will be paying more at the pump..
The same action was proposed by Malaysia to have their own "two pumps system", where there will be seperate pump for those foreign registered vehicles.. This was introduced to make sure that no foreigners will be able to buy the fuel at a subsidised price..
It was mentioned that, the two advantage of this system are that foreigners will pay market rates for their petrol and Malaysians will know what the real price of petrol is..
But this fuel price is to be restructured again..
