Issues on Import and Export..

I've write a long posting for this but it wasnt automatically saved neither it was saved on my draft.. I'll re-write everything tomorrow..

Sorry that i couldnot re-write the whole thing on the day that i supposed to re-write it.. Oh, its 19th May now.. Its my lifetime best friend's Iza's Birthday.. Well, i'll write a special posting about her later on a seperate post.. Hahaha..

Ok, back to my posting on the issues on Import and Export here in Brunei.. Well yesterday (not today, am refering to early last week), i had a discussion on the above mentioned subject with some friends.. We were accompanied by the The Founder and Executive Chairman of ASAFF Group, Haji Abdul Saman Ahmad..

Well, before i go further discussing the Issue of Imports and Exports.. I'll shared the biography of Haji Abdul Saman Ahmad..

He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of ASAFF Group and active member of both intra and extra national bodies engaged in economic development. He has interests in logistics, shipping, education, telecommunications and information technology. Through ASAFF's subsidiary, Circle Freight International Sdn Bhd, Haji Abdul Saman Ahmad was instrumental in setting up BIACC Sdn Bhd, a joint venture with Royal Brunei Airlines created to ground handling of cargo loading and freight services at Cargo Terminal, Brunei International Airport. Haji Abdul Saman Ahmad has served as Secretary General of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam and held official posts on several other trade organisations

Taken from the website of ASAFF Telecommunication Services, Brunei Darussalam.. http://www.circle.com.bn/

Okay, well he shared some statistical data that The volume of Brunei Imports is much higher that the volume of our Exports.. Statistics of Brunei Imports, Exports and Trade Balance for the year 2007..

Exports (X) = 404.6
Imports (M) = 139.6
Total (X - M) = -264.9
Note: All figures are in millionS of U.S dollars..

But my concern here is not the terms "Imports" and "Exports" but more to the terms "Re-ship" and "Tranship"

Owh.. Go and google the term.. Am so lazy to do so.. And in actual fact am kinda sleepy now.. Will update this again later..
